Another first - First Future Scar

In the absence of any attentive adult (we were right there), Max grabbed a drawer and it flew out and punched him in the face. He will have a little scar I think. Poor baby I think of all his run-ins this one actually hurt. Which means it took him all of 2 minutes to forget about it. Until we try and change the band-aid. So we stopped trying. Camando it is then.

First Birthday

We finally got a computer that works and here's a little taste of Max's first birthday. Sorry if its slightly detail-less and anti-climatical, but we just had another 'first' that i will post. and not a great one. Although slightly expected. Anyways.. HIs birthday. Very good. Max got a sweet shirt from his Aunt Kendra, a few cars, a toothbrush (from his practical and boring Mom) an outfit from my coworker Deb and an awesome ball from little Graham. I made him a spcie cake that he loved and we ate a coconut cake that wasn't so great. Maybe I should just realize that DQ ice cream is superior and I cannot compete.

The number one was my crowning start. Homemade stencil with glitter given to me by Aunt Judy. Everyone has a part.

Friend Graham and Lindsey. They made it a great party.

Had to make Max taste the cake first so he knew he wanted to destroy it.

2011 Gone....

Well as I've seen other's posting on their 2011 year, I have been thinking the last few months on what a great year this was. Maybe it all comes in years. A great year or a bad one. So that when its gone, its time for the next. Max was born 1/16/11, my dad got a liver 3/2/11, mostly great stuff all summer, wedding 10/8/11 and a great great christmas with family 12/25/11 :) I really liked this year and it was full of *cue baby crying* great moments. Makes you remember that wonderful things do happen....I don't have pics of Christmas (camera is in WA Mother) but here are some highlites from the year.....here's to working on 2012 to be just as great.

Pregnant. I promise I was pregnant. 9 months in fact.

This is my only proof that we drove to Minnesota right before my dad got his transplant. Rochester bound.
